The 3Com® Power over Ethernet Single-Port Midspan Solution can power an IEEE 802.3af compliant device, such as the 3Com Network Jack or IntelliJack™ Switch, over standard Category 5 or 5e Ethernet cabling.

This 48-volt inline power source installs right in the switch closet, eliminating an exposed power supply and extra wiring at the workspace.

Installing Power over Ethernet helps save time and money because it's less vulnerable to damage or tampering than a local power supply.

The 3Com® Network Jack AC Power Supply powers an individual Network Jack or IntelliJack™ Switch from a local wall outlet.

This power supply is required if your LAN does not have Power over Ethernet. Or you can use it to test and configure individual Network Jack or IntelliJack™ products during setup, prior to powering up the device.

The 3Com® NBX® Phone Power Module enables a pre-standard NBX phone to receive Power over Ethernet forwarded from a 3Com Network Jack, IntelliJack™ switch or any IEEE 802.3af-compliant power source. It's a cost-saving option that preserves existing NBX networked telephony investments for customers who choose to adopt the latest Power over Ethernet technologies, including 3Com Network Jacks and IntelliJack™ products.

This simple plug-in module allows the use of a single source of standards-compliant power for NBX, network jack, and IntelliJack™ solutions-which makes networked devices inherently more reliable and easier to manage. It also increases the flexibility of your networked telephony solutions by enabling support of standards-based inline power.

Converts the voltage and signal detection of the incoming 802.3af Power over Ethernet to match those required by an (pre-standard) NBX phone.

This module enables a 3Com NJ200 Network Jack or NJ205 IntelliJack to forward compatible power, as well as data, to select 48-Volt VoIP phones, notably to current Cisco IP Phones models 7960G, 7940G, 7910G and their retired early versions 7960, 7940 and 7910.
